Upcoming show - new tracks up online (April 23, 2009)
Between the three of us, we've managed to stick to our promise to find at least one day a week (in spite of our jobs and our job-hunting) to work on recording.
Last FM now contains 10 remixed tracks from our first album (Faded, Lovesong for Jenny K, Sick & Tired, I just wanna give up, Kiss me fuck me, Stick this on, Dust, Thesearenotmypeople, Anywhere but here and the hidden tracks Honey/Love me) and 7 from our new album (Sleepwalking, Will to fail, Without warning without reason, Away, Punkabilly, Ever and 33).
This weekend I'm hoping to lay down my vocals on 'Swirl 'and re-records of 'Lone Star Junior' and 'Scenery for the public'. There's also some editing and mixing to do on 'Girlsmakerain' and 'Will happiness find me' as well as 'Beauty Uber Alles'. If all goes well, by next week these six tracks will also be mixed down and up on Last FM. This will just leave 'Rush', 'Down' and 'Dead Lucky' to finish over the next few weeks. A tall order but I'm confident!
And - the date has to be finalised, but we will be playing a gig at the Brunel Music Festival at the end of May. Gav's other band Thumb will also be playing. The dates will be on either 26th, 27th or 28th of May. Click here to return to the News page
